The Son Has Been Lifted Up For The Nations

Even though great calamities, shakings, anguish, tears, loss, and suffering could be on the horizon for the world ( maybe even sooner then 40 years) what Jesus proclaimed is true now. He has already won and is victorious for you. The sin of the world and flesh is running rampant, but the Spirit of God that lives can live inside of you, and catapult you out of the grave. To live is Christ and to die is gain. Where Russia, Iran, Turkey, Syria, America, the EU , and Israel are headed has already been written. It's ALL been written. Somewhere in the world it's a red dawn. For someone war is eminent.  It's a bleak future for sure outside of Jesus Christ. It's been written in Amos, Revelation, Matthew 24, Zechariah etc. Ask Ukraine, ask Israel, ask Europeans, or Americans where will their hope be in times of great distress? What could possibly pierce the darkness?

Jesus said something important for everyone in every age. He said it right at the perfect time, and it is assuring and brings hope no matter the circumstance if you believe. Jesus knew that within 40 years of his proclamation that the Jewish Temple would be destroyed; that Jerusalem would be seized and great calamities and anguish would fall on the people. Yet, he said what was needed to help everyone realize there is  more to life then what we experience here....there is victory over sin and death IN HIM. There is a refuge for your soul after the body is gone IN JESUS. He revealed this for all humanity's sake, and followed through with it: 

“And he told those who sold the pigeons, "Take these things away; do not make my Father's house a house of trade." His disciples remembered that it was written, "Zeal for your house will consume me." So the Jews said to him, "What sign do you show us for doing these things?" Jesus answered them, "Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up." The Jews then said, "It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and will you raise it up in three days?" But he was speaking about the temple of his body. When therefore he was raised from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this, and they believed the Scripture and the word that Jesus had spoken.” John 2:16-22 ESV

God's Son is lifted up for all the nations. He is Alive...risen from the grave!
