This song is written for backsliders,
And those who fell of "the road" like bad drivers.
Who think they're too gross for Mercy and so, so unworthy,
And think the Christian walk's a hopeless journey.
Perhaps like me, you try to smother conviction,
By lust or drugs or some other addiction.
Or you deny your disgusting condition,
Or think, to turn back is too much of a mission.
I know how you feel, like, "What's the point of trying?"
So you avoid the I AM, but you know that He's REAL
You're pursuing sin, although it will kill,
And it's ruining you, and No, you won't be fulfilled
He won't disown you, your only hope, He is still
cuz Christ groaned on the hill when He atoned for your guilt.
There His love was shown and revealed
so, "Come, be washed whiter than snow" by the flow that He spilt (Isaiah 1:18)
for all your wrong sin.
The Lord is good and forgiving, abounding in love to all who call upon Him (Psalm 86:5)
however bad your doubts,
He says, "Whoever Comes to ME, I'll never, ever cast you out!" (John 6:37)

If you're God's son or perhaps you're His daughter

and like a lost sheep you so happened to wander

After every lust you could imagine or conjure

After every greed you could fathom or ponder

Passing pleasures look how fast it was squandered

I know you feel like you've been captured and conquered

If you don't trample on His Majesty's Honor

And you know how He has to cast off a scoffer

Verse 2-
In quick sand I was stuck from my tangents of lust
Until I seen that the Blood of the Lamb is enough
And if I was oppressed under the guilt of my sin—
then how many other of His children are pinned?
Discouraged and despondent in ramped bondage
In sin's grip like anacondas
Consistency, they just can't accomplish
Wounded on the side lines with a damaged conscience:
Convinced by Satan's roaming legions, that they're only pagan hopeless heathens
"And therefore Jesus won't receive them,
Because they have NO righteousness—No achievement!"
But they're really seeking to make their own appeasement
when in reality, the only pleasing atonement to God is Jesus' groans and bleeding—
So let that be the only hope you're pleading!
And you don't need to first work your way back
And NOPE, you won't please Him with your personal lash
Yeah, it's true, you deserve to be smashed
But Christ already averted the Curse and the Wrath (Galatians 3:13)

Verse 3-
If nothing convinces you to come to your senses
but you run from Him I pray your dungeon of sin gets,
so uncomfortable and empty that you run to the Sinless Son who gives abundant forgiveness
'cuz it isn't WHOLE, your "secret heart", it's true
Within your soul—the deepest part of you
I know your spiritual stomach is starving (Isaiah 55:2)
So come back to Christ and He'll abundantly pardon! (Isaiah 55:7)
God put an eternal gap in your heart—so you going after sin is absurdity
'cuz it only leaves you trapped in the dark—so come be filled by Him who IS ETERNITY (Isaiah
57:15)
So peep it homie, though He is holy,
Behold Jesus, Whose so Meek and Lowly (Matt. 11:28-30)
I too am weak—but Yo, He upholds me
Don't trust Christ + Self—NO! Jesus Only!!!
Why return to Christ, I'm sharing some reasons:
Sin is lie—Christ swears His allegiance
Sin our cancer—but He bears our diseases

See infinite grace—come cherish its freeness (Chea!!!)
Receive all the Merits of Jesus,
And on Judgment Day, you'll be there in HIS Clean-ness! (Zechariah 3:1-5)
While you are far off, the Father is chasing,
To receive you in His Arms in His Awesome Embracin' (Luke 15:20)
His Son's robe covers all your mistakes, and
He slaughtered "The Best Calf" on the Cross in your place, kid (Luke 15:22-23)
Admit His law you were breaking
Come as a JACKED-UP SINNER—it's the only qualification (Luke 15:21, 18:13)
I should be the first to witness:
that Christ Jesus came into this world for the worst of sinners! (1st Timothy 1:15)
Say, "While revealing Your Cross to me, Hosea 14:4, HEAL MY APOSTASY!"

If you're God's son or perhaps you're His daughter

The Full Counsel of the Gospel is Necessary

In order for the power of God to come to you for salvation the FULL counsel of the Gospel must be realized and believed in. Accepting only parts of it will do you no good. Hearing only parts of it taught from the pulpit is also detrimental. There are 3 critical parts to the Gospel to believe for it to be affective. Your knowledge can increase in the full counsel as you read the Word. The first (the hardest to accept because of pride in the human heart) is to admit that you are the problem... not your problems themselves, and you cannot do anything to fix the problem. You, yourself, are the sinful one needing to be saved. There are serious consequences to being the problem...the wage of sin is death in eternity. The second is to believe that Jesus is the solution for you by his death, burial and resurrection for you ( hard to believe because of doubt and denial that God was actually with us in Jesus' body and that this one God/Man is the only way to eternal life. This doesn't fit into human logic or understanding. It is true nonetheless, therefore, it must be received by faith), and the third is to live your life for God according to the Bible which is by God's grace and through faith in it. You are not earning salvation since you received it freely by faith in Jesus' work. You are now free and working out your obedience joyfully, through repentance, through a clean conscience , and because  you love God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.  You hate to continue to be the problem and you want the Solution to live through you. Once you live daily in this complete understanding of the Gospel there is power to save you. Jesus is everything! Jesus is God. Don't dwell on the fact you are the problem once you own that, but accept it humbly and thankfully receive the solution, Jesus Christ. He will do his work through you and you will have Jesus, Your Eternal Life. 

Jesus Christ is Above One World Religion and One World Government.

Jesus is not wrapped up in religion. He is not confined or limited to man's perspective of who they think he is, but man limits himself by not accepting the truth of who he is.  Jesus is the very one who is holding everything together. Through him the universe, the earth, everything was created. The world's understanding of Christianity is desperately confused because this reality about Jesus is not accepted or realized personally. Jesus is God in a human body, and he died, was buried and came back to life for people.  All the religions of the world are attempting to unite. Why and under what spirit? There is an anti-Christ spirit and a Holy Spirit.  I am praying that people will know and experience unity in the Holy Spirit who points to Jesus as the Way the Truth and the Life, as God incarnate, as the Savior of the world, as the Jewish Messiah, as the Redeemer and Mediator between God the Father and man, as the Servant of all, the Light of this world. Jesus is not bound or defined by a religion. He is Eternal Life itself.

Focus on the Gospel

When you consider that God the Father declares he will wipe away the wage of every sinful act made by a person through their confession of faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and that he will not remember any sin erased by the blood of Jesus-how extremely important is it to focus on that Gospel and not our problems, or past. The Gospel is our past, present and future. It's real freedom. In that Gospel is real unity.

The Answer

Religion (man's effort and work to please some kind of god) is not the answer, politics (man's attempt to govern people and maintain some kind of civil order) is not the answer. The answer is a sincere faith proven by yielded actions. Love is a verb that can only be propelled by the Holy Spirit. The world really needs the Living God to put its faith in so the Holy Spirit can do its work. He can get things done through yielded and surrendered people.

Andrew Murray writes, "God's opinion of what we really are, and what we desire is not based on the feelings we conjure up, but rather the tone of our lives during the day. Our relationship with God is part of our relationship with people, and failure in one of these is failure in the other. The effective prayer of faith comes from a life given up to the will and the love of God. My prayer is answered by God, not as a result of what I try to be when praying, but because of what I am when I am not praying. "
