Rebounding from Failure

What would the daily response of a perfect God, who claims to be the One True God and Creator of humanity, be towards human failure? This truth will rock you!

Godly Challenges vs. Demonic Challenges

Summoning the demonic through any kind of challenge is dangerous and regretful, but seeking the Lord and the Holy Spirit through reading the Word of God reveals the truth that is found in Jesus Christ. The spiritual realm is real, and blessing comes from pursuing and waiting on the Lord.
This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live. Deuteronomy 30:19
Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD. Psalm 27:14
You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons too; you cannot have a part in both the Lord's table and the table of demons. 1 Corinthians 10:21
Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of the boy, and he was healed at that moment. Matthew 17:18

Will You Reason in the Light of Truth?

The will of the human soul must come to that place where it can face the truth without getting mad and offended by it, and where it can stand in the light so all of its doings can be fully seen without it running away back into the shadows. Before the will can have any chance of being healed and made whole by God who is willing and able to renew that will it must give God a chance to speak to it. By the Grace of God, the will of a person can give God the Holy Spirit a chance to speak to their own mind and heart even when a saving faith or understanding of who Jesus is does not presently exist within them or the embers of a saving faith that once blazed hot are cooling off. God is so good to invite us into reason. He's given us the ability to think and process so we can have a relationship with Him through Jesus Christ.

Send out your light and your truth; let them lead me; let them bring me to your holy hill and to your dwelling! (‭Psalm‬ ‭43‬:‭3‬ ESV)

And the Lord said to Moses, “How long WILL this people despise me? And how long WILL they not believe in me, in spite of all the signs that I have done among them? (‭Numbers‬ ‭14‬:‭11‬ ESV)

For this is the WILL of my Father, that everyone who looks on the Son and believes in him should have eternal life, and I WILL raise him up on the last day.” (‭John‬ ‭6‬:‭40‬ ESV)

As it is written, “Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense; and whoever believes in him will not be put to shame.” (‭Romans‬ ‭9‬:‭33‬ ESV)

“‘Look, you scoffers, be astounded and perish; for I am doing a work in your days, a work that you WILL not believe, even if one tells it to you.’” (‭Acts‬ ‭13‬:‭41‬ ESV)

But because I tell the truth, you do not believe me. Which one of you convicts me of sin? If I tell the truth, why do you not believe me? Whoever is of God hears the words of God. The REASON why you do not hear them is that you are not of God.” (‭John‬ ‭8‬:‭45-47‬ ESV)

“If you are the Christ, tell us.” But he said to them, “If I tell you, you WILL not believe, and if I ask you, you WILL not answer. But from now on the Son of Man shall be seated at the right hand of the power of God.” So they all said, “Are you the Son of God, then?” And he said to them, “You say that I am.” (‭Luke‬ ‭22‬:‭67-70‬ ESV)

“Come now, let us REASON together, says the Lord: though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool. (‭Isaiah‬ ‭1‬:‭18‬ ESV)

But Jesus, knowing the REASONING of their hearts, took a child and put him by his side and said to them, “Whoever receives this child in my name receives me, and whoever receives me receives him who sent me. For he who is least among you all is the one who is great.” (‭Luke‬ ‭9‬:‭47-48‬ ESV)

Now when Jesus came into the district of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say that the Son of Man is?” And they said, “Some say John the Baptist, others say Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter replied, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” And Jesus answered him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah! For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven. (‭Matthew‬ ‭16‬:‭13-17‬ ESV)

“I do not ask for these only, but also for those who WILL believe in me through their word, that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me. (‭John‬ ‭17‬:‭20-21‬ ESV)

And he REASONED in the synagogue every Sabbath, and tried to persuade Jews and Greeks. (‭Acts‬ ‭18‬:‭4‬ ESV)

But when some became stubborn and continued in unbelief, speaking evil of the Way before the congregation, he withdrew from them and took the disciples with him, REASONING daily in the hall of Tyrannus. (‭Acts‬ ‭19‬:‭9‬ ESV)

When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I REASONED like a child. When I became a man, I gave up childish ways. (‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭13‬:‭11‬ ESV)

Let your REASONABLENESS be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; (‭Philippians‬ ‭4‬:‭5‬ ESV)

But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to REASON, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere. (‭James‬ ‭3‬:‭17‬ ESV)

but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a REASON for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect, (‭1 Peter‬ ‭3‬:‭15‬ ESV)

The Lord is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation; this is my God, and I WILL praise him, my father’s God, and I WILL exalt him. (‭Exodus‬ ‭15‬:‭2‬ ESV)

The Lord is near to all who WILL call on him, to all who WILL call on him in truth. (‭Psalm‬ ‭145‬:‭18‬ ESV)

I did not speak in secret, in a land of darkness; I did not say to the offspring of Jacob, ‘Seek me in vain.’ I the Lord speak the truth; I declare what is right. (‭Isaiah‬ ‭45‬:‭19‬ ESV)

Signs of The Times- Matthew 24

No doubt people are getting anxious about what is coming upon this earth. They realize something is wrong and it is not getting better. Yet, amidst strange weather and environmental concerns like drought, flooding, spikes in earthquakes, and volcanic eruptions, tornadoes, to religious extremism and terror, financial and economic uncertainty, unification of world governments and religions, wars and rumors of war, the coming of nations against Israel, people groups coming against people groups, rise of diseases and advancements in technology that are beyond comprehension etc. most people including Christians still consider Jesus' Second Coming as more of a metaphor and something not to take very seriously. This discussion is very enlightening about why these things are happening and what you can expect in the near future. It's time to get yourself and family into faith in Jesus!
