Restoration Promised

Have you ever seen an old classic car that became a total piece of junk fully restored? And restored in a way that makes your head spin? You can't help but take second and third looks! It's awesome because it essentially came back to life because someone decided to invest in it and then work on it. It once was just sitting there rusting, with broken and missing parts, and a damaged frame.  It seemed to be unsalvageable, but along came the right mind with the know- how and patience to restore it to a state more beautiful then ever. At times there was a lot of heat, cutting, waiting for parts to arrive, rebuilding intricate areas and making sure everything lined up. Every so often you'll see that guy or gal driving their fully restored classic car, and to say, "that's a really cool thing" is right, and at the same time kind of an understatement when you realize what it took to get it looking like a Beauty. Well, similarly, this earth, and the people in it are in great need of restoration. Both are God's creation, and he has promised not to abandon his creation.  He has an incredible plan to restore everything in a way that will make our heads spin. He decided to restore all he made, to invest in us and he's now continuing to work on all of it. It's HIS intentional process, and he is in control everything. There has already been a lot of blood, sweat and tears given by him to restore the hardest part of the process which is to soften our hard hearts toward him and remove our rusty sin.  Jesus' Life, Death, and Resurrection has made it possible to accomplish everything that needs to get done in the restoration of everything. God was the Decision Maker and has the resources. He is the only Soul and Spirit with the mind and know how to bring us and the earth out of the rubble and into newness of life. Everything is God's and he has amazing tools to continue in the restoration. All things, even what seems hurtful and painful, can be used to get rid of sin and death, rebellion, hate, war etc. There's a lot of this stuff going on and probably will be more because we are not willing to yield and surrender to The Lord of Life and Peace so he can do the work in us. So the cleaning up and rebuilding process is not easy. But, all things will eventually line up correctly. For example,  what is evil and sinful can't be called or accepted as good. That is not true.  What is wrong can't be treated as right. Confusion and lies and the like have to be fully dealt with. Transgressions have to be finished, sin needs to come to an end, iniquity must be reconciled, and righteousness needs to be brought in. Visions and prophecy have to be sealed up and the Most Holy will be anointed. There's a lot going on in order to restore everything to what it must be. But sooner then later the restoration will be complete. So will we trust God to do what he promised?
