ON LOVE
We are meant to receive and give Love and we can die spiritually, emotionally, and physically if we choose not to learn the Truth about what Love really is.

Love is our greatest need but there is great confusion about what Love really is. Many people are searching for it in places it can never be found.

What and where is Love? Many things are given, experienced, or expressed in our world today in an attemp to show love, but there is still an incredible longing for real Love to be experienced and known. If Love is not found in emotions, in the act of sex, in the giving away of money or gifts, or even in the words 'I love you' then how can it be known and given away? How is it possible that doing, feeling, and saying these things can still leave us empty and longing for Love?

Quieting our hearts and minds and turning from all that distracts us from the Truth will bring about the necessary condition required to know Love. What distracts us from learning the Truth and living in the Light? A comfortable lifestyle? A fear of justice? A seared conscience? A desire for more? What distracts you?

Love is powerful enough to free us from our pride and spiritual blindness. Love wants to reveal himself but he can't be made up, redefined, or intellectualized. Love is tough and uncompromising. Love endures nails in hands and feet, thorns in forhead, whipping on back. Love is tough and always does what is best for the other person even when it is undeserved. A hard and sobering Truth is that this Love can be rejected. An incredible and freeing Truth is that this Love went far enough for each of us so we could have the option to step out of the dark and into the Light.

Love is the reason why the Light shines in the darkness. Without Love there is no humility. Without humility there is no surrender. Without surrender there is no salvation. Without salvation there is only spiritual death in darkness. Without Love there is no kindness. Without kindness there is nothing that leads us to repentance and sorrow for the things we do in the dark. Without Love there is no mercy but only fear of perfect justice.

The Truth is that Love is a Spirit. The Truth says, 'I am the image of the Spirit of Love and my Way is meant to be received into your life so that I may be known by you personally and so you can be known by me personally---forever.'
